Governor Nanok vows to deal with medics

The Turkana Boss, Governor Josphat Nanok has vowed to deal with 'lazy' doctors and nurses working in Lodwar County and Referral Hospital who abscond from work.
Mr Nanok said this after receiving complaints from residents that they don't get services at the referral hospital especially at night.
"I will personally start my own fact-finding mission to prove these allegations and no one should blame me," said Governor Nanok.
Mr Nanok said that devolution has helped the number of doctors in the region rise from four to 70 and that of nurses rise from 250 to 1,300 and this makes the patients have a right to proper medical services irrespective of the time they visit the facility.
