Kiambu County receives Ksh 3.5 million medicines from MEDS
Kiambu County has received medical supplies worth  3.5 million Kenyan shilling from Mission for Essential Drugs & Supplies (MEDS). The supplies were made under MEDS County Governments Strategic Partnership programme that was launched in 2013.
MEDS usually supplies medicines and pharmaceutical products to more than 2,000 customers in Kenya and has been involved in quality assurance to help curb the proliferation of counterfeit medicines.
Kiambu Governor, Mr Ferdinand Waititu said the drugs would be distributed to Kihara, Kiambu, Tigoni and Gatundu hospitals.
