EBOLA KILLS 55 PEOPLE IN DR CONGO
THIS AUGUST
The government of DR
Congo was forced to initiate free treatment against Ebola after an outbreak
that claimed the lives of 55 people since the start of the month.
The current Ebola
outbreak began on 1st August in Mangina in North Kivu and this was
the tenth outbreak to have struck DR Congo since 1976.
The government’s aim
of the free vaccine is to remove the financial barrier that could dissuade the
population from going to the health center.
